Coram IAC has an extensive history in providing support for adopted adults in the UK and further afield. As the UK’s only international adoption agency, we are proud to offer services to anyone who was adopted internationally.
If you are an adopted adult seeking support, we ask that in the first instance you contact our Information & Advice Service. Our expert team will be able to offer advice and signposting. Find out how to Contact Us here.
Adopted Children and Young People
Since 2009, Coram IAC has been responsible for placing children with our families. Many of these children are now young adults. We place children from all over the world, including from the UK.
We know that it is really important for anyone who has been adopted to understand why and we support our Coram IAC adopters to share information with their children. We also run support groups and events for children and young people so that you can meet other people who were also adopted and learn more about what it means to be an adopted person.
The best way to learn about our services is to ask your parents who will be sent information regularly but you can also email us directly info@icacentre.org.uk or contact us on Social Media. If you were not adopted through Coram IAC we may still be able to help with supporting adopted adults in the UK, so it is always worth contacting us.
If you are worried about something or someone is behaving in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable you can also ring Childline on 0800 1111. The call is free and confidential.
